The incredible Jojoba Oil is a naturally antibacterial, antiviral, anti fungal, anti inflammatory and hypoallergenic oil, making it the perfect oil to use on our skin. In fact it is ideal for any skin type, including baby skin.  It doesn’t clog the pores and it soothes fine lines and wrinkles, helping slow down signs of ageing. Jojoba Oil is deep penetrating and locks moisture into the skin.

Jojoba oil contains a balance of the Vitamins A, D and E which are wonderfully healing, keeping the skin strong and healthy.  The essential fatty acids, Omega 6 and 9 in Jojoba oil, help to regenerate skin cells and repair damaged skin tissue.  Vitamin E is absorbed by the epidermis and is ideal to use if you have sunburn.  It also speeds up cell regeneration making it very helpful in treating scars and acne. Jojoba oil is great to use on pregnant tummies to help prevent stretch marks.

Use Jojoba oil directly on the skin as a natural moisturiser and beneficial massage blend. It can be used in place of make-up removers which contain chemicals and is safe for cleaning off eye make-up. In fact, men can apply Jojoba oil before shaving and use instead of a shaving cream. Then, apply it after the shave to moisturise and nourish the skin.

Another wonderful way to use Jojoba oil is to treat dry scalp, dandruff and dry hair. The oil will hydrate and strengthen the hair, making it soft and shiny. You can add essential oils to your Jojoba oil and create a blend to massage into your scalp to stimulate blood flow and encourage hair growth.  Rosemary and Bergamot essential oils are really good oils for scalp and hair.

Massage Jojoba oil into dry cracked heels, elbows and even dry cuticles to nourish, heal and soften. It makes a perfect lip balm too!

I love Jojoba oil and have included it in both the Vanilla Rose and Jasmine & Patchouli body lotions, making them wonderfully nourishing and a perfect treat for the skin!
